Your 300 ICW8 in-ceiling speakers are designed to deliver the most natural sound reproduction, whether used for stereo music or home theater. They are discreet speakers that blend seamlessly into your walls and ceiling.
This 2-way coaxial loudspeaker features an 8" (21 cm) woofer with a flax cone and an inverted dome tweeter made of aluminum/magnesium alloy. The 8" woofer features Focal's exclusive Flax technology, which emulates the renowned W cones used in the Utopia, Sopra, and Electra lines. These special cones are stiff and very light, producing a sound that is natural and extremely precise. The tweeter is adjustable and rotatable, allowing the treble to be tailored to the room's acoustics.
The 300 ICW8 loudspeaker is the largest model in the 300 series. Its high sensitivity allows it to produce powerful sound up to 90dB.

All 300 SERIES speaker cones are made using Flax sandwich technology. Flax is an eco-textile with astonishing structural properties: it's light, stiff, and well-damped for greater timbre neutrality and better definition.
The TNV2 tweeter developed for these products uses Focal's exclusive inverted dome technology, allowing for optimal energy transfer and limited directivity.

The magnetic grids supplied with each product are perfect for quick and easy installation.
In terms of design, all products in the 300 Series line come with two types of grilles: a square grille and a round grille, ensuring they blend seamlessly into your interior. Another key design aspect is that the grilles are frameless, making them even more discreet and elegant.
