Precision drivers of the Q Acoustics Q 7000LRi

The driver area of these speakers, relative to the size of the enclosure, provides the extra bandwidth these small stereo speakers need to ensure they produce a big, pure sound. On each of the speakers, 2 x 75 mm drivers are mounted in a D'Appolito configuration around a 25 mm HF ring radiator.

Speaker expansion

The 7000LRi is designed to have enough bandwidth to be used as a stand-alone pair of stereo speakers. This is particularly useful if you want to add a pair of additional speakers in a room adjacent to a main listening or viewing room. Many AV receivers are formatted for 7 channels, allowing the possibility of implementing 7.1 or 5.1 plus a second stereo zone, using additional speakers.

Assembly and finishing

Each of the two speakers comes with a table stand, and a ball joint allows them to tilt in a wide variety of directions. It is also possible to hang them from the ceiling using the keyhole screw head mounts in the base. The table bracket also doubles as a wall bracket by rotating it 180 degrees on the ball joint and using the keyhole fasteners to attach it to screws in the wall, again allowing the speaker to be aimed over a wide, fixed angle. The 7000LRi's are available in both white and black finishes.
