Versatile, the Q Acoustics Q ACTIVE 200
Q Acoustics designed the Q Active series from the beginning with the express intention of delivering an uncompromising, high-resolution, versatile system that can play music from any source: TV, network music streamer, smartphone, laptop and even a turntable.
Included with each pair of speakers is a compact central Control Hub, configured for Google "Chromecast built-in," which allows users to connect to a variety of wired and wireless sources. The Hub can be connected to your home network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
Sound
The Q Active series is a true active design, with Class D amplification eliminating the need for a bulky external amplifier or receiver. Q Active 200 speakers feature two Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) drive units in an offset configuration that deliver widescreen sound dispersion and a huge sweet spot: so no matter where you sit in the room, you will hear the same rich, detailed and expressive sound from Q Active speakers.
