A center channel speaker in a 5.1 home theater setup plays a crucial role in conveying a realistic surround sound experience. A center channel not only supports the left and right front channel speakers, but also anchors dialogue while being a seamless part of the entire soundstage. A key player in the Concept 5.1 package, the Concept 90 is our most advanced and distinctive center channel speaker, featuring many of the anti-resonance technologies found in its Concept stablemates to deliver focused yet engaging cinema sound.
Controlled force
Featuring a three-way design with two 125 mm mid/bass drivers flanking a 25 mm tweeter, the Concept 90 brings ultra-clear dialogue and mesmerizing effects to movie viewing sessions via specially developed driver designs.
Because sound synergy is important in a home theater speaker system, the Concept 90 houses the same hermitically sealed and decoupled tweeter enclosure and driver-mounted design as the Concept 30 and 50. The same isolation base, with two plates separated by suspension balls, is also present to isolate the cabinet from external resonances - a crucial design when the speaker is placed directly on a TV cabinet, while also offering tighter sound and more depth to your music and movies.

All of these resonance-eliminating innovations are housed in a Gelcore™ cabinet design to deliver a speaker with few internal influences that can color the sound. It allows the Concept 90 to emit crystal clear dialogue and enhanced sound depth that take the movie viewing experience to the next level.
The Gelcore™ cabinet construction, introduced in the original Concept speaker, is designed to minimize high-frequency noise. A unique design consisting of a non-hardening gel sandwiched between two separate layers. This specially developed adhesive dissipates high-frequency vibrations generated by the moving drivers into heat to maintain a focused audio performance whether you are watching movies or listening to music.
