The focus of any great speaker is to produce an open "be there" sound, and the Q 3010i speakers deliver just that, despite their compact size. The crossover offers room-filling sound with its precision 100 mm (4 inch) and 22 mm (0.9 inch) drivers, focusing on the power-to-size ratio. The crossover has been revised to take advantage of greater cabinet volume to improve sensitivity and bass extension. The Q 3010i speakers can be shelf-mounted on suitable, pre-mounted rubber feet, or stand-mounted or wall-mounted on optional, dedicated stands and brackets.
P2P reinforcement
Q Acoustics P2P™ (Point to Point) bracing in the 3000i series supports the parts of the enclosure that need bracing, making the new enclosures exceptionally rigid, improving the focus of the stereo image and making the soundstage more accurate than ever before. *whole series)
Larger cabinet size for more powerful sound
The Q 3010i retains the same acoustically optimal front profile, but has been made slightly larger and 25% deeper than previous models. This larger internal volume has enabled Q Acoustics to obtain an extended low frequency response from the ported design, so that the smaller enclosures in the range more than ever belies their small stature with an impressively large-scale sound. As an added benefit, the larger front-to-back dimension means that any cone-generated sound reflected off the back wall of the enclosure and out through the cone itself is reduced.
High-frequency driver unit
The 3000i Series tweeters are decoupled from the baffle via a compatible suspension system. Vibration from the woofer, which can affect tweeter performance, is isolated, allowing the tweeter to perform with significantly less interference.

Whichever 3000i model you choose, the cone is precisely formed from impregnated and coated paper and combined with a newly developed rubber surround with low hysteresis. The coated paper cone offers the optimum balance between stiffness and self-damping, meaning it can accelerate without flexing and stop very precisely without unwanted resonances.
New binding posts with low profile
Conventional recesses in the connection panel have been removed, significantly improving the structural integrity of the enclosures, and new low-profile connection posts have been incorporated with connections deep enough for 4 mm (0.16 inch) banana plugs. The loudspeaker can be placed very close to a rear wall even if banana plugs are used instead of spades or exposed wires.

The new 3000i Series speakers are available in four standard finishes; Graphite Gray, English Walnut, Carbon Black or Arctic White.
