The Q 3020i builds on the success of its multi-award-winning predecessor. With precision 125 mm (5 inch) and 22 mm (0.9 inch) drivers, the Q 3020i speakers deliver deep bass and room-filling sound. The Q 3020i retains the same acoustically optimal front profile, but has been made slightly larger and deeper, increasing overall cabinet size by 25%. This larger internal volume has enabled the Q 3020i to achieve an extended low-frequency response through its ported design, so that the smaller enclosures in the range more than ever belies their small stature with impressive large-scale sound.
The Q 3020i speakers can be shelf-mounted on suitable, pre-assembled rubber feet, mounted on a stand, or wall-mounted on optional, dedicated stands and brackets, so the Q 3020i fits seamlessly and fills your chosen listening space with powerful, beautiful sound.
Leading technology that ensures the most open soundstage
The Q 3020i features P2P™ (Point to Point) bracing that supports the parts of the enclosure that need to be braced, making the new enclosures exceptionally rigid, improving stereo image focus and making the soundstage more accurate than ever before (*full series). With the addition of an all-new mid/bass driver and a high-frequency driver unit where the tweeters are decoupled from the baffles, allowing the tweeter to perform with dramatically reduced interference, the Q 3020i is a true testament to the technological improvements throughout the series has made it our most exceptional yet.
High-frequency driver unit
The 3000i Series tweeters are decoupled from the baffle via a compatible suspension system. Vibration from the woofer, which can affect tweeter performance, is isolated, allowing the tweeter to perform with significantly less interference.

Whichever 3000i model you choose, the cone is precisely formed from impregnated and coated paper and combined with a newly developed rubber edge with low hysteresis. The coated paper cone provides the optimum balance between stiffness and self-damping, meaning it can accelerate without flexing and stop very precisely without unwanted resonances.
New low-profile tie posts for easy room positioning
Conventional recesses in the connection panel have been removed, significantly improving the structural integrity of the enclosures, and new low-profile connection posts have been incorporated with connections deep enough for 4 mm (0.16 inch) banana plugs. The loudspeaker can be placed very close to a rear wall even if banana plugs are used instead of spades or exposed wires.
