The Q Acoustics 3030i bookshelf loudspeaker is the latest addition to the award-winning Q Acoustics 3000i loudspeaker range. It is designed to deliver the largest, most impressive sound ever achieved by a speaker of this type and price. With a 165 mm (6.5-inch) mid/bass driver developed from the powerful 3050i floorstander, along with an optimized motor, the 3030i has bass extension and control superior to that of any rated rival. Add to this the same tweeter and mounting used in the 3050i floorstanding speakers, and the 3030i redefines the scale and reliability available for such competitively priced, stand-mounted speakers.
The 3030i fits in the range between the 3020i bookshelf loudspeaker and the 3050i floorstander. While it retains the elegant, compact appearance of a floorstanding speaker, it borrows its woofer design from the much larger and more powerful 3050i floorstanding model.

The all-new 165 mm mid/bass driver is a precisely shaped cone made of impregnated and coated paper, and is combined with an optimized motor. Because it is capable of such prodigious low frequencies, the 25 mm tweeter above it is decoupled so that it is isolated from the vibrations of the mid/bass driver. This means a clearer and purer sound.
Ready for action
Like the entire 3000i series, the 3030i features Q Acoustics' unique point-to-point bracing. This computer-assisted process provides focused and precise cabinet support, ensuring that the cabinet is extremely rigid and eliminating unwanted vibrations.
Point to Point P2P™ bracing, technology first introduced in the flagship Concept 500 loudspeaker, maintains high cabinet rigidity and low distortion, and the custom-made floor stand provides excellent stability while placing the tweeter at the optimum listening height.
