Great sound needs a great amplifier
The second generation of Tangent's award-winning Ampster BT amplifier is a small, handy-sized amplifier with a wealth of features for a variety of home and commercial applications. By combining your Tangent Ampster BT II amplifier with good quality speakers, such as the Tangent Spectrum X4 or X5s, the result is stunning optimal audio reproduction for the size and price of the system.
Connect wirelessly or wired
You can stream your music wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet or computer to the Ampster BT II amplifier via Bluetooth, or by connecting your device with an AUX cable. Digital and analog line inputs, a sub output and a USB charging port are also provided.
Wake up with Bluetooth and multi-room compatibility
With the second-generation BT II, you no longer have to worry about turning off your amplifier. It goes into standby when the music stops while playing music via Bluetooth and automatically wakes up when you resume playback. Plus, the Ampster BT II can wake from standby via its AUX mini-jack input, allowing you to connect most multiroom or networked systems to it. For example, add a Chromecast Audio, AirPort Express or other Wi-Fi device to the AUX input, and the Tangent Ampster BT II will turn on as soon as you start playing over your network. Keep in mind that the Ampster must automatically go to standby while on the selected source to use the wake-up function. If disabled manually, the wake on Bluetooth or AUX is not active.
A mini amplifier with a big sound
The new Tangent Ampster BT II fits effortlessly into Tangent's new mini system. By combining the Tangent Tuner ll & CD ll, you can enjoy a complete, compact HI-FI system with premium audio quality and performance. Each Ampster BT ll, Tuner ll and CD ll is less than the width of an A4 sheet of paper and only 7 cm high, making the system stacked only 21 cm high! So the small size of each component takes up less space in the living room, kitchen - or wherever you enjoy your music.
A remote control for everyone
The remote for the Tangent Ampster BT ll also controls the Tuner ll and CD ll, so when all three components are stacked or placed separately, each remote can be used to control all the components. Or you can choose to use just one remote control and put the other two remotes away! Another convenient feature of this second-generation Ampster BT is an IR infrared input. This allows you to place the Tangent Ampster BT II anywhere that remote control operation is not possible. Simply place the included IR eye anywhere the remote control can reach it, then connect the cable to the external IR input on the rear panel.
