Wired or wireless
The perfect partner, the PreAmp II powers power amplifiers from multiple sources or simply adds a wireless connection to your active speakers. This versatile preamplifier offers two wired input connections via both digital optical and analog AUX inputs, as well as a wireless Bluetooth option that lets you stream music from your smartphone, tablet or computer.
Ideal for turntables
To meet the resurgence and growth of vinyl collections, Tangent has added an integrated RIAA / Phono module function for this new second-generation PreAmpster model, so it is now possible to use this PreAmp II preamplifier with a turntable.
Balanced XLR with the Tangent PreAmp II - Black - Preamplifier
New to the PreAmp II is the ability to use a balanced connection (XLR) to power amplifiers such as Tangent's PowerAmpster II.
Headphones
Tangent PreAmp II is also suitable for those who want to bring quality sound to audiophile headphones via the built-in headphone amplifier. The headphone jack is conveniently located on the front of the preamp.
Subwoofer or active speakers
The PreAmp II also offers several output options, including an analog line-out and a balanced XLR connection for connecting an amplifier or active speakers. In addition, there is a sub output for connecting a subwoofer to enhance your system's bass frequencies.
