The AE520 is a powerful, slim, floorstanding speaker that builds on the AE500 and AE509 models to firmly establish itself as the brand's new flagship, with a multi-driver design, impressive size and performance.

The AE520 features two dedicated 125 mm mid-range drivers, three low-frequency drivers and a 25 mm tweeter - all made of carbon fiber for perfect tone fitting across the entire frequency range.

Two dedicated 125 mm carbon fiber mid-drivers incorporate new oversized 35 mm voice coils for low thermal compression and optimum motor power factor. Both are mounted in their own special sealed enclosure, while the three dedicated low-frequency reflex drivers are loaded through a large rear-facing rectangular port. Designed to match the piston force and accuracy of our legendary ceramic aluminum drivers, these new units offer much improved self-damping for smoother, more transparent sound.

The vertical orientation is optimized to provide excellent vertical coverage while reducing the energy otherwise wasted on ceiling and floor reflections compared to traditional designs.

The slim cabinets are finished in Piano Gloss Black, Piano Gloss White or American Walnut wood veneer. Solid aluminum rods are provided to ensure solid floor coupling and maximum stability, while the rigidity of the metal structure reduces room-speaker interaction.
