CD for the purist
Following a long list of award-winning audio lab CD playback devices, the 9000CDT uses a high-precision optical system with an electronic data buffer for accurate and seamless CD playback. The pre-reading digital buffer to reduce disc reading errors, allowing the 9000CDT to play scratched and damaged CDs that may be unreadable by conventional mechanisms.
Isolation of vibration at the Audiolab 9000CDT - Silver - CD Player
To ensure that an error-free signal reaches the corresponding DAC, the coaxial output of the 9000CDT is fed by a differential line driver. The master clock is controlled by a high-precision crystal oscillator, so the digital output from both coaxial and optical connections exhibits vanishingly low levels of jitter (digital distortion).
The 9000CDT's low-friction bucket, sturdy aluminum base and chassis work to address vibrations experienced from the mechanics of a high-rotation engine. Furthermore, the conveyor is mounted in its own electromagnetically shielded enclosure with its own power supply. This all contributes to exemplary digital signal extraction, while proven resonance reduction further enhances performance and further effect in supporting Hi-Fi equipment and signal chains.
Digital files in any format
In addition to its industry-leading CD playback design, the 9000CDT also offers compatible digital music files via a dedicated USB 'Type A' connector on the back of the unit. Every significant hi-res and lossless audio format is catered for, including WAV, AAC and WMA, as well as compressed older MP3 formats.
Featuring a 4.3-inch IPS LCD screen with a detailed but easy-to-use GUI, the 9000CDT provides a vivid display of information, including system settings, format, folder, track details and other data.
