Now we have completely revised the successful GLE model series - both optically and technically. What has remained is the strong price-performance ratio and, of course, the convincingly good Canton sound. At the top of the hierarchy of the current GLE series are the GLE 100 3-way floorstanding loudspeakers. Their imposing appearance, coupled with attractive design and harmonious proportions, immediately shows where the acoustic journey is headed: the GLE 100 plays powerfully and dynamically. With their excellent, balanced sound characteristics, however, they will also charm audiophile sophisticated listeners from the outset. For this, the latest technology, which is allowed to take its place on the slim baffle and create the unique Canton sound - with our excellent drivers made of titanium, which carry over into the current GLE series.

Up-to-date technology

Striving for the best sound means a lot of hard work and using the latest technology. Our GLE speakers benefit from our constant advances in speaker development, both visually and technically. The two 219 mm woofers in the optimally sized bass reflex cabinet produce sharply defined, deep bass. Instead of the earlier drivers with aluminum diaphragms, low-frequency drivers with highly stable titanium diaphragms are now used: these can follow fast music impulses even more precisely. We also use titanium drivers in the acoustically very important midrange in the current GLE series. Thanks to the large 174 mm midrange driver in its own volume, the GLE 100 sounds incredibly agile and shines with high dynamics, excellent resolution and unsurpassed balance. As ideal playing partners, we use our mature and proven aluminum-manganese tweeter systems with 25 mm domes, which are equipped with advanced waveguides for ideal sound dispersion and coupling. Thanks to optimized crossovers, reproduction is possible up to 40,000 Hertz. The outstanding technical equipment of the current GLE generation is further underlined by the loudspeaker chassis with stable polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnetic drives and triple-folded wave edges.

The solid 3-way GLE 100 floorstanding speakers are both modern and neutral in design. Despite their stately cabinet dimensions, the slim GLE 100s can be integrated almost anywhere thanks to their harmonious proportions. They are available in attractive enclosures of "black vinyl" and "white vinyl" with matte black or satin white lacquered baffles. A decorative feature of the current GLE series are the black or white fabric covers, which are magnetically attached to the baffles. They are generously rounded at the corners, giving the floorstanding speakers an independent, attractive appearance. The well-proportioned GLE 100 floorstanding speakers are 116 centimeters high, just 24 centimeters wide and 40 centimeters deep. Four feet integrated into the bottom of the cabinet ensure a firm footing on the floor.
