The technology of the Canton GLE 20 - White - Bookshelf speaker: better than ever

Striving for the best sound means a lot of hard work and using the latest technology. The GLE speakers benefit from the constant advances we are making in speaker development, both visually and technically. First, we would like to mention our excellent titanium drivers, which are included in the current GLE series. Our aluminum-manganese tweeter system with a 25 mm dome tweeter, which provides the GLE 20 with finely resolved treble and tremendously detailed sound, is tried and tested. The ideal partner is the powerful 154 mm bass/midrange driver with titanium cone, which can reproduce deep tones powerfully and accurately in the optimally tuned bass reflex volume. The lightweight but extremely rigid cone guarantees balanced and neutral midrange reproduction with excellent detail resolution. The bass-midrange drivers feature sturdy polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnet drives and the latest generation of triple-folded wave surrounds, giving the speakers highly dynamic performance with the least distortion. The compact loudspeaker GLE 20 performs up to 40,000 Hertz - thanks to its precisely calculated and optimally shaped waveguide with ideal sound propagation even to the sides of the speakers.

Compactly built

Harmonious in proportions and neutral and modern in design, the GLE 20 2-way compact speakers are universally usable: free-standing on the matching LS 660 stands, on a rack or in a shelf. The baffles are painted black or white, depending on the chosen finish. The housing of the compact speakers is available in "black decor," "white decor" and "makassar decor." The black, sound-neutral fabric covers hold magnetically to the baffles. The 29.5 centimeters high, 17 centimeters wide and 26 centimeters deep GLE 20 weighs about 4.5 kilograms.

You can combine the universal 2-way GLE 20 compact speakers with other GLE series models to create a powerful, high-performance multi-channel home theater system.
