Now we have completely revised the successful GLE model series - both optically and technically. What has remained is the strong price-performance ratio and, of course, the convincingly good Canton sound. Our brand new GLE 50 center speaker is the absolute centerpiece: with its two 154 mm titanium bass midrange drivers, it performs accurately and dynamically in a closed cabinet at all times. Supported by the 25 mm tweeter with aluminum-manganese cone, it is perfectly equipped to optimize the sound of your home theater system at home. The excellent technical equipment ensures long listening pleasure with the best Canton sound.

The technology: better than ever

Striving for the best sound means a lot of hard work and using the latest technology. The GLE speakers benefit from the constant advances we are making in speaker development, both visually and technically. First of all, we would like to mention our excellent titanium drivers included in the current GLE series. Two 154 mm titanium drivers in a closed box reproduce the lowest tones clearly and powerfully and guarantee a balanced and neutral midrange with excellent detail resolution. They are equipped with sturdy polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnet drives and the latest generation of triple-folded wave surrounds, giving the speakers highly dynamic performance with minimal distortion. The perfect complement comes in the form of our mature and proven aluminum-manganese tweeter system with 25 mm dome: a precisely calculated waveguide and the optimized 2.5-way crossover allow playback up to 40,000 Hertz - with ideal sound dispersion even beyond the head listening axis.

The GLE 50 2.5-way center speaker has a modern and discreet design. Thanks to its harmonious proportions and attractive cabinet versions in black decor, white decor or makassar decor, the GLE 50 Center feels at home in any living environment. The front of the GLE 50 Center is finished in matte black or satin white. A decorative feature of the current GLE series is the black fabric cover, which is magnetically attached to the baffle. It is generously rounded at the corners, giving the center a distinctive, attractive face. The well-proportioned GLE 50 center can be placed on or in a TV cabinet under a TV. Alternatively, it can be used as a center speaker on the optional LS 660 speaker stand, which is both acoustically and visually perfect. Measuring 45.5 x 17 x 30 centimeters, the solidly built center weighs 8.6 kilograms.
