Now we have completely revised the successful GLE model series - both optically and technically. What has remained is the strong price-performance ratio and, of course, the convincingly good Canton sound. The new GLE series is led by the flagship GLE 90, a powerful and dynamic floorstanding loudspeaker in 3-way construction that not only puts its excellent sound characteristics on the line, but also scores points with its listeners with an attractive, harmonious design. The finest technology takes its place on the slim baffle and creates the unique Canton sound - most recently with our excellent drivers made of titanium, which may be included in the current GLE series.

The technology: better than ever

Striving for the best sound means a lot of hard work and using the latest technology. Our GLE speakers benefit from the advances we are constantly making in speaker development, both visually and technically. Precise, powerful bass is the domain of the two 192 mm woofers, which deliver phenomenal low bass in the bulky bass reflex cabinet. Instead of the earlier drivers with aluminum diaphragms, woofers with highly stable titanium diaphragms are now in use: these can follow fast music impulses even more precisely. We also use titanium drivers in the acoustically very important midrange in the current GLE series. Thanks to the large 174 mm midrange driver, the GLE 90 sounds incredibly agile and shines with the best dynamics, excellent resolution and unsurpassed balance. As ideal playing partners we use our mature and proven aluminum-manganese tweeter systems with 25 mm domes, which are equipped with advanced waveguides for ideal sound dispersion and coupling and, thanks to optimized crossovers, allow reproduction up to 40,000 Hertz. The outstanding technical equipment of the current GLE generation is further underlined by the loudspeaker drivers with stable polycarbonate baskets, powerful magnetic drives and triple-folded wave edges.

The 3-way speakers GLE 90 are both modern and neutral in design and can be integrated into any living environment thanks to their harmonious proportions. They are available in the attractive finishes "Black Vinyl," "White Vinyl" and "Makassar Vinyl" - the baffles of the bass-reflex floorstanding loudspeakers are finished in matte black or satin white. A decorative feature of the current GLE series are the black fabric covers that are magnetically attached to the baffles. They are generously rounded at the corners, giving the floorstanding speakers an independent, attractive appearance. The well-proportioned GLE 90 floorstanding speakers are 105 centimeters high, but only 21 centimeters wide and 30 centimeters deep. Four feet integrated into the bottom of the cabinet ensure a firm footing on the floor.
