Ceramic tungsten technology

K Series membranes are manufactured in an elaborate process. Up to 20% of the existing molecular structure of the aluminum cone is converted into a ceramic structure and refined with tungsten particles. The result is a diaphragm with an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio and improved internal damping.

Terminal

The high-quality connection section with four gold-plated screw terminal connections is suitable for cable diameters up to 10 mm2 and special cable lugs. This ensures secure connections Crossovers with long-term stability.

Solid cabinet design of the Canton Reference 2 K - Piano Lacquer White - Floorstanding Speaker

The acoustically optimized cabinet with its organically curved baffle offers significantly improved dispersion properties. The solid construction of high-quality 50 mm multilayer laminate sets new standards in terms of stability. The characteristic arch shape of the cabinet is created in a special process from solid material.

Crossovers

The crossovers of the Reference 1K and 3K speakers discreetly separate the bass, mid and treble ranges. Only selected components without tolerance are used in the manufacture of their low-resonance circuit boards. Here it is not only about separating an audio signal, but also about creating sounds.

Bass Guide

The floorstanding speakers of the Reference K family operate with the new Bass-Guide® bass reflex system. Vibrations are conducted away from the cabinet and flow noise is reduced. The usable inside volume of the speaker is maximized while the outside dimensions remain the same and there is more flexibility in the setup location. Distance from walls or corners no longer has much influence.

Excluding cabling

Cabling is kept to a minimum. The cables themselves are designed specifically for the Reference K loudspeakers. The design, with its special core and six twisted individual conductors per phase, ensures optimum sound transmission from the terminal to the chassis.

The elegant, high-gloss "pianofinish" surface is applied and polished in a 12-step process. It gives the Reference K Series cabinets a sense of extraordinary depth. Acoustically optimized, two-piece fabric covers with magnetic closure round out the exclusive look.
