Ceramic tungsten technology
K Series membranes are manufactured in a complex process. This involves converting 20% of the molecular structure of an aluminum cone into a ceramic structure and refining it with tungsten particles. The result is a membrane with an optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio and improved internal damping.

The subwoofer's audiophile-grade, 750-watt high-performance digital output stage features a high- and low-level input. Volume level, phase adjustment and crossover frequency can be controlled directly from the listening position using a wireless remote control. The woofer system, embedded in a solid baffle of 50 mm thick multilayer laminate, together with the Bass-Guide® integrated in the base, provides impressive bass up to 18 Hertz.

Cable routes inside the enclosure are kept to a minimum. The cables themselves are specially designed for the Reference K loudspeakers. The structure with a special core and six twisted individual conductors per phase ensures optimum sound transmission from the connection terminal to the chassis.

The elegant, high-gloss surface sealing "Piano Finish" is applied, sanded and carefully polished in 12 steps. It gives the enclosures of the Reference K Series an overwhelming depth effect. Acoustically optimized, two-piece fabric covers with magnetic fastening confidently round off the elegant appearance.
