The 300 ICW4 is a recessed/ceiling speaker that fits perfectly into your interior. It is ideal for listening to stereo sound or enjoying the soundtracks of your favorite movies as part of a home theater system. It is also suitable for reproducing surround sound or even as part of a multi-channel system (5.1, 7.1, 5.1.2 etc.). Thanks to the natural and well-defined midrange of these speakers, they really amplify the voice of singers and movie dialogues.
The 300 ICW4 Recessed/Ceiling Speaker is the most compact model in the 300 series. Its discrete design gives it a great size-to-sensitivity ratio.
This 2-way component speaker consists of a 4″ (10 cm) woofer with a flax cone and an aluminum/magnesium alloy inverted dome tweeter. Focal's exclusive Flax technology is based on flax-based ecotextiles. The flax cone is composed of a flax structure sandwiched between two fiberglass plates, which gives it impressive rigidity despite its lightness. Worthy of the famous W cones used in the Utopia III, Sopra and Electra 1000 Be 2 lines, they produce sound with remarkable neutrality and definition.
The most important quality of these new speakers: ease and speed of installation, with the patented EQI (Easy Quick Install) system. No tools required! These new products also meet the most essential criteria for use and installation: frameless, magnetic grilles, anti-vibration feet....
Accessories required for installation are sold separately (pre-mounting kit and fireproof backcan).

All speaker cones in the 300 SERIES series are made with Flax sandwich technology. Flax is an eco-textile with amazing structural properties: it is light, stiff and well-damped for greater timbre neutrality and definition.
The TNV2 tweeter developed for these products uses Focal's exclusive inverted dome technology, allowing for optimal energy transfer and limited directivity.

The magnetic grids included with each product are perfect for quick and easy assembly.
In terms of design, all products in the 300 Series line come with two types of grilles: a square grille and a round grille, so they will fit perfectly into your interior. Another important aspect of the design is that the grilles are frameless, making them even more discreet and elegant.
