Your 300 ICW8 flush-mount/ceiling speakers are designed to deliver the most natural sound reproduction whether used for stereo music or home theater. They are discreet speakers that blend perfectly into your walls and ceiling.
This 2-way coaxial speaker consists of an 8″ (21 cm) woofer with a flax cone and an aluminum/magnesium alloy inverted dome tweeter. The 8″ woofer features Focal's exclusive Flax technology, which rivals the famous W cones used in the Utopia, Sopra and Electra lines. These special cones are rigid and very light, producing sound that is natural and extremely precise. The tweeter is adjustable and rotatable so that the treble can be adjusted to the acoustics of the room.
The 300 ICW8 speaker is the largest model in the 300 series. With its high sensitivity, it is capable of producing powerful sound up to 90dB.
The most important quality of these new speakers: ease and speed of installation, with the patented EQI (Easy Quick Install) system. No tools required! These new products also meet the most essential criteria for use and installation: frameless, magnetic grilles, anti-vibration feet....

The 300 ICW Series speakers can also be installed around your TV screen as stereo or center speakers. They are also suitable for an Atmos® ceiling application.
Original Flax Cone of the Focal 300 ICW8 - Ceiling Speaker - Recessed Speaker
All speaker cones in the 300 SERIES series are made with Flax sandwich technology. Flax is an eco-textile with amazing structural properties: it is light, stiff and well-damped for greater timbre neutrality and definition.
The TNV2 tweeter developed for these products uses Focal's exclusive inverted dome technology, allowing for optimal energy transfer and limited directivity.
Perfectly Combined with Your Interior
The magnetic grids included with each product are perfect for quick and easy assembly.
In terms of design, all products in the 300 Series line come with two types of grilles: a square grille and a round grille, so they will fit perfectly into your interior. Another important aspect of the design is that the grilles are frameless, making them even more discreet and elegant.
