F501SP
This Special Projects version of the F501 uses the top-of-the-line 6″ (15 cm) IsoFlare™ unit and the equally large mid/low unit as used in the 700 Series, complete with multi-fiber cones and FyneFlute™ notched rubber surrounds. The 1" (25 mm) magnesium tweeter is mounted in the acoustic center of the IsoFlare™ unit. A waveguide placed in front of the tweeter ensures a particularly homogeneous response across the entire frequency range. Also incorporated in this model are the crossover technology and aluminum plinth with BassTrax™ diffuser that make the more expensive F700 Series perform so well. The F501SP is available in high-gloss white and high-gloss black and, for a small additional charge, in high-gloss walnut.
