Cavity Radiation Control (CRC), the latest patent-pending technology developed by KEF's UK engineering team, is a unique open midrange driver with an acoustically absorbent foam design that eliminates midrange problems, including frequency dips of up to 30 dB that occur with typical three-way coaxial designs. With CRC, the Ci250RRM-THX offers the highest acoustic fidelity in the midrange among three-way coaxial loudspeakers.

Low diffraction LF aperture

Ci250RRM-THX has a Low Diffraction LF Aperture, a carefully profiled, flattened enclosure with an outer acoustically absorbent foam ring that reduces resonance and diffraction. As a result, it delivers exceptional MF/HF performance while maintaining tremendous bass response.
