In addition to all its features, the PM7000N amplifier uses quality components for gracious sound. This high-quality Marantz amplifier uses a discrete current feedback design with Marantz' proprietary HDAM SA3 and SA2 amplifier modules. Usually reserved for much more expensive models, these op-amps use SMD metal film resistors for greater temperature stability. The result is a cleaner, less distorted sound, regardless of volume.
Quality sound continues with the choice of internal DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter). Using the highly rated Asahi-kasei AK4490EQ chipset, the PM7000N can stream Hi-Res 192 kHz / 24 bit signals through all its digital inputs. Connect via USB, and the PM7000N also decodes DSD files up to 5.6 MHz.
Using a large toroidal transformer and high-quality output capacitors, the Marantz PM7000N effortlessly produces 60 watts per channel. This is sufficient for larger rooms and is ideal for getting the best out of even the most inefficient speakers. Simply download the HEOS Home Entertainment Skill app and ask Alexa or Google Assistant to perform functions such as volume and source selection. With the Apple Home app, Siri voice control from your Apple iOS device provides additional functionality over AirPlay 2 - including device grouping.
HEOS multi-room music systems are connected via dual-band Wi-Fi, making them easy to set up with your existing home network. Up to 32 HEOS units can be set up simultaneously, so even the largest homes are covered for multi-room music. With HEOS already built in, the PM7000N is ready to use as a single "zone" without further adapters.
After setting up your HEOS speaker system, you can effortlessly stream music via the dedicated HEOS app. Available for Apple iOS, Android and Amazon Kindle, the app lets you stream not only your stored music, but also Internet radio services and popular streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Napster and Deezer.
For network streaming of the highest quality, the PM7000N has a USB input - perfect for your computer, laptop or hard drive. For other digital sources, there are two optical and one coaxial input. Three analog inputs are perfect for hi-fi components, with the dedicated MM phono input ideal for connecting a turntable.
