Technics SU-R1000 - Black - Premium Stereo Amplifier - Reference Class
About the Technics SU-R1000 - Black - Premium Stereo Amplifier: With the most advanced digital technology at its heart, the Technics SU-R1000 combines power with finesse to deliver industry-leading sound.
Digital amplifier technology at its best
After successfully relaunching into hi-fi in 2014, Technics has spent the following years perfecting their award-winning digital amplifier technology. The result is the Technics SU-R1000 amplifier - a hugely powerful, digital amplifier that is also among the most natural and refined sounding in its class.
Active Distortion Cancelling Technology (ADCT) for purest sound
ADCT is Technics' latest digital amplifier technology and plays an important role in the SU-R1000's superior sound quality. The system actively extracts distortion in the output power and applies correction to the digital output signal, giving your speakers the most natural and lifelike sound possible.
Jitter elimination and Noise-shaping Optimization (JENO) for smoother audio
JENO works with ADCT to deliver high-resolution digital signals without introducing distortion between the input stage and the output to the speakers. Technics has developed an original jitter-reducing circuit, avoiding the deterioration in sound quality due to jitter common with conventional digital amplifiers. Lower jitter means smoother, more harmonious sound - regardless of the music source.
Load Adaptive Phase Calibration (LAPC) for optimized speaker tuning
LAPC is a speaker impedance optimization algorithm that optimizes the performance of your speakers. By using digital signal processing to smooth both amplitude and phase frequency response, the result is a sound with better focus, spaciousness and definition.
Reference quality nutrition
With four independent power supplies, the SU-R1000 offers reference levels of audio precision. Digital and analog sections of the preamplifier are powered separately, as are the right and left halves of the power amplifier. This power split helps improve the signal-to-noise ratio and gives this Technics amplifier exceptional detail and consistency.
Battery-powered clock generator of the Technics SU-R1000 - Black - Premium Stereo Amplifier
In the past, Technics used battery power for low-noise applications in analog amplifiers: here, the same technology is used to improve the precision of the digital clock, improving the definition of the sound.
High quality adjustable phono stage
If you add a turntable to your system, you're in for a treat with the sound and optimization capabilities of this Technics amplifier. The high-quality phono stage uses three stages of digital technology to enhance the sound. Precise EQ curve uses low-pass filter correction to improve signal-to-noise ratio. Crosstalk Canceller uses a calibration record (included with the amplifier) to provide sharper focus and more expansive sound. Finally, Response Optimizer perfects impedance matching between cartridge and amplifier, bringing out the true sound of the cartridge.
All connections of the Technics SU-R1000 - Black - Premium Stereo Amplifier
When it comes to connecting, the Technics SU-R1000 is one of the best in the business. On the digital side, you'll find dual USB, optical and coaxial inputs. Analog inputs can be found in the form of XLR and RCA phono (x3). Similarly, you can connect your turntable via XLR (MC only) or RCA phono (MM/MC). For future upgrades, there are pre out/power in RCA jacks, plus a record output. Add a high-quality headphone output and you have everything you need from a high-quality amplifier.
With the Technics SU-R1000, you can hear exactly what an advanced amplifier can do for your music.
