In 1965, the first version of Wharfedale's Linton hit the market, a groundbreaking design that delighted many music lovers. Over fifty years later, the Linton has gained a worthy successor with the Linton85. This type is along with the latest technological developments and equipped with modern components. On the other hand, the "looks" have remained. Moreover, as loads, they are flexible for any type of amplifier and "omnivores" when it comes to music genres. Wharfedale Linton loudspeakers are still manufactured and marketed today according to the "value for money" principle.

• Three-way bookshelf speaker with 1″ textile soft-dome tweeter, a 5″ woven midrange driver, and an 8″ woven Kevlar bass woofer.
• Finely tuned crossovers, for a smooth transition between the tweeter, midrange and woofer.
• 1″ high frequency tweeter equipped with high flux ferrite magnet.
• 5″ midrange driver and 8″ woofer mounted on a rigid molded chassis, for clear midrange frequencies and accurate bass with dynamic performance.
• Rear cabinet made of veneered particleboard / MDF.
