TOROIDAL TRANSFORMER

Usually reserved for leading Hi-Fi components, the R-N2000A benefits from the technical skill and absolute musicality of a toroidal transformer. Combined with an array of high-quality Hi-Fi features and components, the toroidal transformer helps ensure that musical emotion is conveyed to the listener. In addition, a 3 mm copper base is placed between the bottom of the transformer and the inner chassis to control vibrations in the transformer, delivering an overwhelming spacious sound full of realism.

HIGH-QUALITY DAC

To pursue clear, transparent sound field reproduction while delivering a rich and fully detailed level of musicality, we have adopted ESS Technologies' state-of-the-art ES9026PRO digital-to-analog converter. This high-performance DAC provides highly accurate signal conversion via the balanced analog audio output and further refined power delivery for four-channel operation, effectively reproducing even the subtle ambience of concert halls and delicate expressive nuances in sound.

LOW IMPEDANCE CONCEPT

To thoroughly eliminate energy loss and audio signal degradation, the R-N2000A has thick wires for the ground connection, a critical feature that ensures the components are truly premium Hi-Fi. In addition, a screw connection is used for the output of the power amplifier section to reinforce the ground, which is important for audio quality. By achieving this, an open, natural soundstage is achieved, bringing artist and listener closer together.

MECHANICAL GROUND CONCEPT

As with Yamaha's Hi-Fi flagship model, the R-N2000A uses the mechanical ground concept. The concept begins with the foot bolts welded directly to the main chassis, and continues with the large heat sink, power transformer and block capacitors also bolted directly to the chassis. This design prevents unwanted vibration, resulting in a powerful, highly expressive low-frequency response and letting you feel the deep groove of the music.

SILVER-PLATED BRASS FEET

The solid rigidity of the amplifier is complemented by the heavy silver-plated brass feet that firmly enhance the rich, fundamental low-frequency response and fill it with musicality.

FLOATING AND BALANCED POWER AMPLIFIER

Equipped with our original amplifier technology, the circuitry of the power amplifier, including the power supply, is completely independent of ground, completely eliminating the influence of minute voltage fluctuations and external ground noise. This circuit design results in a variety of advantages, including perfect symmetry of pull-pull operation in the output stage, achievement of an excellent S/N ratio and overwhelming expressive power that perfectly brings out the sound of any musical instrument.

SYMMETRICAL CONSTRUCTION

Following the embodiment of stereo playback in this component, the R-N2000A has adopted a perfectly symmetrical, folding construction, with the power supply in the center and the power amplifier blocks at either end of the main unit. This gives the unit ideal weight balance and suppresses adverse effects between channels for extraordinary channel separation. BRILLIANT VU METERS

The elegant level meters are strongly reminiscent of the nostalgic era of Hi-Fi, while signaling the return of pure Hi-Fi for today's discerning enthusiast. The level meters visually display the dynamics and pulse of the music and give a warm feeling through their softly lit LEDs.
