Audiolab 7000CDT - Silver - CD Player
About the Audiolab 7000CDT - Silver - CD Player:
Audiolab 7000CDT
Nestled between the 6000 and 9000, the 7000 combines premium features in a price range that follows the mantra of industry-leading performance.
Externally resembling the sequential series and therefore offering a brand-wide visual aesthetic match, the audiolab 7000CDT improves on the 6000CDT with a new mechanism, USB HDD display and a new IPS LCD color display! More compact than the 9000 series and perfectly matched to the 6000 and 8300 series, maintaining sharp ergonomics, high-end engineering and excellent all-round performance
New series, same standards
The 7000CDT uses a high-precision optical system with an electronic data buffer for accurate and seamless CD playback. Very similar technology to the 9000CDT, the 7000CDT uses a forward-reading digital buffer to reduce disc reading errors, allowing it to play scratched and damaged CDs that may be unreadable by conventional mechanisms. To ensure that an error-free signal reaches the associated DAC, the coaxial output of the 7000CDT is fed by a differential line driver. The master clock is controlled by a high-precision crystal oscillator, so the digital output from both coaxial and optical connections exhibits vanishingly low levels of jitter (digital distortion).
Isolation of vibration at the Audiolab 7000CDT - Silver - CD Player
The low-friction bucket, sturdy aluminum base and chassis of the 7000CDT work to address vibrations experienced as a result of the mechanics of a high rotational speed engine. Furthermore, the conveyor is mounted in its own electromagnetically shielded enclosure with its own power supply. All of these contribute to exemplary digital signal extraction, while proven resonance reduction further enhances performance and further effect in supporting Hi-Fi equipment and signal chains.
Digital files in any format
In addition to its industry-leading CD playback design, the 7000CDT also offers compatible digital music files via a dedicated USB "Type A" connector on the back of the unit. Every significant hi-res and lossless audio format is catered for, including WAV, AAC and WMA, as well as compressed older MP3 formats.
