Denon presents its new design series. Authentic hi-fi for the modern lifestyle. The perfect complement to Denon's all-digital PMA-50 stereo amplifier, the DCD-50 features a high-quality disc drive that allows playback of both music CDs and data CDs with MP3 and WMA tracks.

Shaped similarly to the PMA-50, the DCD-50 features a graceful, compact chassis that can be used either horizontally or vertically.

The clear-image OLED display features automatic screen orientation that senses whether the DCD-50 is positioned horizontally or vertically and adjusts the display accordingly.

The usual disc tray has been replaced by a convenient slot feed mechanism, allowing horizontal and vertical placement.

For optimal sound in combination with the PMA-50, the DCD-50 features a coaxial digital audio output. The included digital coaxial audio cable makes installation easy.

To connect to other audio components, the DCD-50 is equipped with a high-resolution 32-bit/192kHz D/A conversion system and analog stereo outputs.

Perfect match with the PMA-50

The DCD-50 and the PMA-50 digital integrated amplifier share the same superior design and finish and therefore match each other perfectly. The compact chassis features a luxurious finish with soft accents in aluminum matte, bright silver color tones and glossy and matte black surfaces.

Horizontal or vertical placement

To save space on your desk or shelf, the DCD-50 can also be placed vertically next to or above the PMA-50. The four feet can be easily removed by hand, and on the chassis side you will find four cap-covered screw holes. Simply remove the caps and screw in the feet. Then insert the four included silver caps into the original screw holes on the bottom and you are good to go.
