Dôme Flax, the flagship of Focal's Home Cinema range, is now available as a 5.1.2 package to bring you the ultimate 3D sound experience. Enjoy at home the ultra-realistic sound of cinemas equipped with the innovative Dolby Atmos® technology. This home theater system consists of seven French-made speakers: five Dôme Flax satellite speakers, two 300ICW4 In-Ceiling speakers and a Sub Air subwoofer.
This 5.1.2 pack combines compact design, optimal home integration and high-quality acoustics thanks to the addition of two discreet "In-Ceiling" speakers that are easy to install thanks to the exclusive EQI (Easy Quick Install) system.

Dolby Atmos® technology provides true 3D sound by adding a vertical dimension, that is, the propagation of sound waves emitted from a new source: the ceiling. Thus, the original Dôme 5.1 system has been expanded to include two in-ceiling speakers. This new dimension provides even more precision and realism for a multichannel experience worthy of cinemas.

These Dôme speakers feature flax cones made in Saint-Etienne with flax grown in France. This natural material is both light and rigid and can deliver very high performance, especially in terms of damping and sound diffusion. The result is a more homogeneous sound, improved dynamics and a more accurate register, especially in the high frequencies; enough to entice all lovers of pure and natural sound that is completely faithful to the original recording.

300ICW4 in-ceiling speakers Focal Dôme Flax 5.1 + Sub Air - White - Surround Set
The 300ICW4 in-ceiling speakers integrate into the ceiling of your home theater to reproduce the vertical channel of the soundtrack. They feature the same tweeter and the same 4″ natural flax sandwich cone speaker driver as the five Dôme Flax satellite speakers.
Installation of the 300ICW4 is maximally simplified in no time and without any tools thanks to the exclusive EQI (Easy Quick Install) system. They come with 2 types of grilles, are frameless and can be painted, making them ultra-discreet.
Sub air, the powerful and discreet subwoofer
The finishing touch to this system is the intense and deep bass delivered by the wireless Sub Air subwoofer. This powerful subwoofer can be installed almost anywhere. The Sub Air, with its 150W BASH® amplifier and its powerful 81/4″ woofer, is a perfect complement to your Dôme Flax system.
So original flax cone, the Focal Dôme Flax 5.1 + Sub Air - White - Surround Set
Flax cones have been made exclusively by Focal in France since 2013. With their original design, the cones are completely focused on acoustic performance. They are made of high-quality flax fiber enclosed by two thin layers of fiberglass. F-cones are characterized by their natural sound, with little coloration, their rich reproduction in the midrange register and their tighter bass. The lightness of the fiber meets the criteria of high internal damping, high speed and high bending stiffness. Flax is twice as light as fiberglass because the fiber is hollow. It also has very low elasticity, making it ideal for increasing the flexural stiffness of a sandwich structure.
