Pro-Ject has decided to enter the entry-level market with a high-quality alternative that comes complete with an Ortofon cartridge. The new Elemental turntable is truly plug and play in every way. No adjustment of counterweight and anti-skating is required, they are preset. The new ultra-low mass straight tonearm is optimized for the included Ortofon OM 5E cartridge.
The secret to the success of this new turntable is a central center of gravity, made of an artificial stone and placed directly under the bearing of the turntable. The system is able to completely absorb unwanted rumble and motor vibrations. This turntable exudes pure simplicity, while on the other hand maintaining high quality in terms of audio standards.
