The REKKORD F400 is a fully automatic sub-chassis turntable that is not only convincing in terms of sound, but also a real eye-catcher. The fully automatic system as well as the tone arm and cushioned aluminum plate are built on a floating sub-chassis platform that is decoupled from the rest of the chassis. The F400 has a massless follower force adjustment that optimizes the center of gravity directly at the bearing center. The automatic system is tuned and refined by experienced engineers and is based on a highly complex mechanism that has traditionally developed and evolved over decades. The pre-tuned high-quality Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is mounted on a carbon-fiber reinforced headshell that provides the perfect connection to the aluminum tone arm. The 2M Red is a universal cartridge that delivers an open and dynamic sound with a touch of warmth. The plinth is made of MDF and is available in 4 different finishes: satin black, high gloss black and cherry or makassar real wood veneer. Cables, dust cover and a single adapter are included with the turntable.
