Perfect for small and medium-sized rooms, T / 5x fits perfectly into any interior. Floor firing is part of its secret; bass energy hits the floor and spreads evenly throughout the room, performing like a larger model. For those picky about style, the hidden bonus is that this design even eliminates the grill, giving it its purest form.Slightly larger in volume than its predecessor, it actually appears smaller due to subtle design changes to minimize its visual presence. Finally, 5 hand-polished coats of lacquer give your choice of high-gloss white or piano black gloss to the gently rounded cabinets.

Designed for elegance - a 360 degree upgrade
Many do not realize the intense link between performance and design here at REL. Performance is everything to us, which is why it drives physical design revisions. Our engineers, recognizing the need for greater acoustic volume to achieve the goals of increased fluidity and power, turn to the designer using dimensions to fool the eye into seeing a smaller, more compact footprint even as cabinet volume increases. Using gently rounded corner radii that allow the eye to flow and see less visual mass. The result is both modern and familiar without unnecessary embellishment.

Faster and deeper - Swift
T / 5x borrows a single longthrow 8-inch (200 mm) bass motor from its older brother, T / 7x. Developed using a composite of aluminum and lightweight paper, this cone captures details that will amaze, while providing enough energy to probe deeper than you'd expect for its size. In T / 5x, the throw - the ability to play louder - has been increased. Internally, the suspension received numerous upgrades, similar to transforming the handling of a car from a family sedan to a true sports car. More power, more finesse.

Strengthened power - REL's reliable brains and brawn
T / 5x builds on the reliable, expensive 125 W Class A / B amplifiers of its predecessor. Internally, key items important for improving transparency and speed have been upgraded free of charge to REL's legendary reliability. Separate inputs for High Level Inputs, Low Level Inputs (necessary for the increasing number of active speakers coming to market) ensure a natural, perfect transition from speaker to subwoofer. And in theaters, a separate, dedicated 1 / LFE input for theater performance allows an automatic transition between music in high-end 2-channel applications and home theater without having to change a single setting. Magic? No, superior engineering. Standby mode switch is only included with 220V devices.

Wireless without compression - Unlimited possibilities
At REL, we have built an excellent reputation for building the best-sounding, fastest wireless systems available in the industry. REL never relies on digital compression because it results in thin, lifeless sound. Instead, we have perfected an (optional) Arrow™ Wireless system; so fast and dynamic that we feel comfortable encouraging the use of wireless on one channel of a pair of RELs, while the other channel can be wired.
