Digital Architecture for Sound Isolation

As in the SU-R1, the ST-C700D uses a "jitter reducing circuit" to combat jitter. A common-mode filter for the LAN input and a pulse transformer for the digital interface ensure clean and stable sound reproduction by preventing intrusion of external noise.

Virtual Battery Operation

Virtual Battery Operation reduces noise generated by the power supply circuit by using the "reference potential generating circuit" to charge the capacitor.

Optimally Activated Circuit System

The "Optimally Activated Circuit System" provides the ability to disable various digital modules such as display, network, USB and digital interfaces if desired, minimizing the noise generated by these devices during music playback.

Technics Music App for Smartphones

With the Technics Music App, you can comfortably and easily choose a music source, select playback devices and create a playlist via the screen of a tablet. The Music App's screen displays all music files stored on a DLNA certified server, the device the App is running on, or on a USB memory card, giving you full control over playback at all times. Combined with the SE-R1, the Music App not only lets you control the volume and playback functions, but also adjusts the Bass, Mid and Treble levels.

High Res Re-Master

Technics has developed a signal processor that can increase both sample frequency and bit depth. The High-Res Re-master converts audio signals to up to 192kHz/32-bit resolution for the most faithful and expressive reproduction of the original music.

Ultra Low Distortion Oversampling Digital Filter

The digital oversampling filter with Technics' original algorithm accurately removes the image to a level of -160 dB or lower, reproducing sound rich in spatial expression.

High Quality Analog Circuit
