Sinds de release in 1976 van de P2200, onze eerste professionele eindversterker, heeft Yamaha ernaar gestreefd de hoogst mogelijke niveaus van geluidskwaliteit, uitgangsvermogen en betrouwbaarheid te bereiken in geluidsversterking, studio en geïnstalleerde toepassingen. De nieuwe eindversterkers uit de PX-serie zetten deze traditie van uitmuntendheid voort, waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van Yamaha’s vermaarde digitale signaalverwerkingstechnologie en ongeëvenaarde professionele audio-expertise om een licht, duurzaam ontwerp te bereiken dat in staat is maximaal uitgangsvermogen aan de luidsprekers te leveren en deze tegelijkertijd te beschermen met geoptimaliseerde verwerking. Aangedreven door een nieuw ontwikkelde klasse-D-versterker zijn de vier nieuwe modellen waaruit de PX-serie bestaat geschikt voor een breed scala aan geluidsversterkings- en installatieomgevingen.
